In September 2001 a new Vampirella model emerged after months of nail-biting tension as 12 different hopefuls for the position were judged on the Vampirella website. |

You can also discover more on the Harris web site. For my money Maria is a perfect Vampirella and a fine successor to Julie Strain. I love the pic on the Harris website |

Terry: Hi Maria, I had a great time with you at the Chicago con this year (2001). You are soooooo spontaneous, it is almost scary!! Have you always been this wild.... errrr, fun? |

Maria: No, actually I am not "wild" at all. Very much the opposite. I just wanted to give the fans something to remember. A memory they could take home and look back on. Terry: On more than one occasion, I heard you make the remark that you were not married. And then look around at the crowd and go, "Why, Why am I not married?" Now I have a LOT of trouble with this one. You must not be seriously looking at all, right? Maria: Seriously, I would love to be married and have children. Married to a man that loves me, for me. But guys just never talk to me. Oh sure, some plastered man will tell me he would buy me an airplane if I would marry him--- I do NOT want a plane. I want a man just to love ME. I think people, when they see me all "fixed" up for a model shoot, think I could have any man I choose. But they are so wrong. It seems I can have any man, except for the one I REALLY want, the one that wants me, for me.............. |

Terry: At the con, we had a lot of fun with your suit. Not wanting to stay in place that is. We even went to a hand signal so you would know there was a problem. Have you since worked out the "bugs"? |

Maria: I tried the duct tape, but it just did not work. I finally just gave up and took the tape off. Oouuuch!!! But even without the tape, I did not have any "serious" accidents. Terry: I shot a few pics of you holding a "Certificate of Authenticity" just under your errr.... chest. Tell the fans a little about how this came about? Maria: I was just showing that I am "authentic" from the top of my head to the tips of my toes. Nothing artificial here. But, make no mistake. I do not think badly of anyone that improves their appearance thru plastic surgery. |

| Terry: I saw you on Ripley's Believe It Or Not the other night. Seems your image has been on the covers of over 3000 romance novels!! On more covers than any super model in the world! Where else can we be on the lookout for you in the future? |

Maria: I am going to be in Vogue Knitting. And I will have a pictorial in the April issue of FHM. I am not certain what pictures they will run of me. But they shot several lingerie, swimsuit, type pics. In one, I am topless. BUT, I have my arms crossed, so it is still PG. Terry: Now back to Maria's wild side. Over the years, I have posed with many Vampirella models. And I always try to get a picture with them about to bite my neck. But I have never gone home with a "hickie" before surrounded by a ring of teeth mark "whelps" until I posed with Maria. The whelps lasted for 2 days and the hickie a week!! I had the strangest urge for a cigarette,,,,,, and I don't even smoke! |
